I have a close friend with leiomyosarcoma and have been researching for several months in an effort to at least try to understand what she is going through. We are currently trying to control the progression of her mets (lungs and liver) with a vegan diet. I've not seen anywhere on your blog yet about The China Study or any interest in diet. But I thought it might be worth a mention. (if you are interested in this, another book is The Cancer Battle Plan) My friend, too, did not respond well to chemo and is trying to avoid going that route again. She has another CT scan tomorrow, so we should know by the end of the week whether or not her diet is working.
