We are now at the point in our lives that my older children use their younger siblings as canvases for their artwork. I can tell by how advanced the artwork is, though they try to blame it on the little ones. Oh, life with kids... :)
emilie, i know times are hard, so i hesitate to say it, but apparently you guys are raising a longshoreman or merchant marine or something... cute stuff....
I love it! My 10-year-old (Brian) used to do the same thing. Regarding the future artist comment, Brian actually is an exceptional artist. Obviously, the same must be true for Daniel. :) Given his choice of red and green, perhaps he was decorating himself for Christmas.
It's a rite of passage...I have 3 boys and a girl and they all did this, at some point....CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS on this momentous occasion!! : 0 )
ReplyDeleteHysterical! How fun to see this right before I set the dinner table. I see a resemblence to Michael Phelps-- the Olympian not Vegas Partyboy.

Em, Daniel would fit in just fine downtown Portland, with all the tatoo-clad alternative folks.
