Milk-drunk baby, sleep-deprived mother

Getting along

Did I mention that I have a killer case of postpartum edema (fluid retention and swelling) in my feet and legs from all the IV fluids I received? Can't wait for that to go away ... it's more bothersome than my c-section incision.

Oh, he is just so cute! How are you doing mom? Are you getting some sleep and healing ok? I hope parenthood is everything you'd dreamed of!
Thanks for taking a min. to post new pics... Daniel is so sweet.
My feet were BIGGER. Eww! I hate the swelling, too. It will go away soon!
He looks even more beautiful in these photos!
I hope you are feeling better and better. You look happy in your sleep-deprived photo.
My legs swelled like that too. We were still at the NICU, although I had been released the day before, and I asked the nurses if I should go down to the ER because my feet were so huge. They laughed at me, but I didn't realize it would happen.
What a doll! And you look fantastic (feet notwithstanding - ick, you poor thing!).
Thanks for sharing. What a precious little family!
