midway through chemo cycle
Groggy. Foggy. Just want to lie in bed all the time. A little nauseous until I pop an extra pill that helps quell the tummy rushes. Finished a thick Nora Roberts book in one day. Any ambitious plans, errands, phonecalls, etc., on the back burner. Kind of like having the flu, maybe. I'll post again when I pull out of this. Am just in no mood to write.

I feel like that a lot, and I'm not even on chemo! I was wondering when your manic posting pace might slow.
Read. Eat. Sleep. Watch a movie. Take care of yourself. Know you are loved.
hoping you feel better...
I'm just going to leave a message on your cell phone when I'm on my way to work... no answer needed, no call back needed.
Just a little voice -through-the-phone- voice contact since I'm not up there to give you lots of attention. I might even sing or recite a poem!
My recomendation for a a series of books is Janet Evanovich's Plum Novels about Stephanie Plum the New Jersey girl bounty hunter.
She's up to 13 or 14 books now.
Love you, Mean it.

Have you ever read Anna Maxted? She's a great, sassy British novelist. Love her work.
HANG IN THERE, EM!
Stephanie Plum novels are the BEST quick reads.
hugs to you Emilie. We love you.
I hope you feel better soon
Thanks for writing at all. Your body is telling you to chill out while it ATTACKS ATTACKS ATTACKS.
Oh, goodness, where did that come from?

I also recommend the Stephanie Plum books - I don't have them all, but I bet between your local friends we could find them :) They are fantastic.
Let me know if you need more books!
Feel better soon!
For a nice "brain get away" I enjoy the Janet Evanovich series....she is up to 14. They are based in Trenton NJ and are alot of fun.... another fun good book is Water for Elephants.
Hope you're feeling better soon...
Rest, Read, Renew yourself.
I'll be praying and sending smiles.
*hug*
Oh Em, I'm sorry. I wish I could personally remove all the grog and nausia.
Nora Roberts is usually easy to finish in a day, even the thick books.

Just thinking of you today.
