digging out

We got about a foot and a half of snow last week, possibly the most I've seen at one time since I moved here. For those of you who haven't been to Minnesota in the wintertime, here is what that looks like.

Wow! That is a lot of snow! So much more than those snow days in Portland where everyone panics. Kind of surreal (sp?), with all that Arctic-looking snow, mixed with civilization and daily life. Poor Steve!

Would you believe we got that much snow here in NM right around Christmas?! I couldn't believe my eyes!
