saturday at the park

I feel like I've turned into one of those mothers who shows picture after picture of her baby to all who will look! I guess that's my prerogative here, since this is my blog (preblogative?!), but still. I was watching Notes From the Underbelly Thursday night, and there was a scene where the main character and her divorce-lawyer friend talk about how, after their friends have babies, all they talk about is head measurement percentiles and tummy time. I half-smiled, half-cringed. They could have added bowel movements, sleep patterns and nursing bras. I've never been caught pumping in a dressing room, but I have used the occasion to nurse Daniel, hoping to squeeze another 10 minutes of shopping out of our trip to Banana Republic. And the bit about hideous maternity underwear? Huh ... I still wear mine from time to time. They're so comfortable.

Cute pics!

I liked that show! I have to admit I related to the lawyer in more ways than just our shared profession. Okay, not the sexual escapades. But definitely the feeling that everyone else I know is discussing tummy time! ;)

Very cute! We have yet to go to the park! Tomorrow is the MN Zoo. I am very excited for that. I can totally relate with you. Actually, last night I was thinking..people must be really sick of all of the pics I put up of Graycen. Then I realized I didn't care..it's my blog..I am proud of my baby and I will do what I want! So post on!!! :)

Liz ... I liked that part where the divorce attorney said, "I'm not married ... but don't you want to know what I do?"

THIS IS SUSANNE

Em, you mentioned how you're one of those moms who shows the whole world her daily baby pictures. Let's just say, it's an excellent way for people like Mom & Dad, who don't see Daniel every day or week, to follow his progress growing up.

Yep, we come here every day seeking your pics and stories, so keep 'em posted!
PS — I got a new computer system at work that is faster and supports your blog. Before, all I could do was read your postings because I got error messages when I clicked any of the links, even the "comments" link.

Yes, that was an excellent line!!

Just want to clarify - keep posting pics, of course! I seek out your blog for pictures, and anyone who wanted to avoid them could choose not to do that (although why you wouldn't want pics of Daniel, I just can't imagine!). :)

I may have to hunt you down if you ever stopped posting pictures of your adorable boy. How else can I live vicariously through my friends and their babies! *sheepish grin* Daniel looks great as always. So cute!
