interested in cloth diapering?

I'm selling some newborn-sized cloth diapers and covers we're no longer using. They're all clean and in great shape, though the diapers are a little stained from repeated use. You can have everything for $50; or $3 per item. Here's the inventory:

13 Kissaluv fitted cloth diapers, size 0 ($13 each new)

2 Bummis Super Whisper Wrap covers in a yellow pattern (not this froggy pattern, though I do have these in the next size up), size NB ($11 new)

2 ProRap Classic covers in white, size SM

Three more covers (Gerber's and Especially for Baby brands), which you can have for free.

I'm going to list these on Craig's List if I don't hear from anyone, but since I know a gazillion pregnant people right now, I thought I'd mention it here first. Please e-mail or call me if you're interested!

I'm going to let someone else take advantage of this generous offer since we just got our enormous box from Green Mountain Diapers. But thank you, Emilie!

By the way, I am glad to know you started cloth diapering at the newborn stage... I've heard lots of people use disposables for a couple of weeks, until the meconium phase passes and the umbilical cord falls off. Did you have any problems with the covers and the umbilical cord??

I know someone in St. Paul who just had a baby on Sunday and was looking for cloth diapers. I gave them your blog address so hopefully they will see it in time. Her name is Daniela.

I'm thinking of cloth, but A's already blasted through the NB size and is in size 2 already! When he's growing this fast it's hard to commit to cloth. Maybe when he stablizes a bit. How great to offer them this way, though. Reuse, Recycle, Re-um, what's the third one?

Long-time lurker. I would definitely be interested in buying the lot. I'm in NYC so you would have to ship them to me, but if that's ok and they're still available please send me an e-mail at longdistanceinfertility@gmail.com.

Wow! Guess I had no idea how far cloth diapers had come in 30 years or so.

Signed,

She who can still fold 'em in her sleep.

I think I've found a buyer, folks, but I'll keep everyone on a backup list.

Liz, we actually did use disposables on our boys for the first few days, until most of the meconium had passed through. I'm sure cloth would have handled it fine, but it was just easier that way. There wasn't any problem with the Kissaluvs interfering with the umbilical cord stump, though.

Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle

Reduce. Thank you! Maybe that explains all the stupid clutter in my house.
